Love Point Park, Cross Island Trail, Stevensville, MD.

Hosted by Team in Training to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

Conditions: Cool, partly sunny, run on flat paved Cross Island Trail in Queen Anne’s County, MD on the MD Eastern Shore. No official time clock, runners had times based on their own watches.

Noah Wood of Columbia, MD ran a great negative split and discovered the coolness that is the Cross Island Trail. Kathy Gray was second with the race's director and Team in Training Coach, Allison Harper, in third. Leah VanHoose, and avid runner, took fourth and Julia Cohoon was right behind her, both with strong finishes. Paul Harper was sixth and ran a great race for himself.

Everyone had a great time at such a wonderful and easy course, and they all seemed to have nice qualities about each of their performances at this run.

1.) Noah Wood 13:49

2.) Kathy Gray 17:42

3.) Allison Harper 17:42

4.) Leah VanHoose 17:50

5.) Julia Cohoon 17:50

6.) Paul Harper 18:35

Introduction to the Intent of this Blog

Greetings and many warm welcomings to this blog site, thank you for stopping by! I hope to utilize this to display results of running events that occur in Queen Anne's County, Maryland that do not typically get much (or any) coverage, including having their results posted/circulated. Seeing as there are hardly any running events that seem to occur in this county, and the only ones that do seem to happen in the Kent Island area, this site probably will not have a lot, but it's here nonetheless and I will be glad to take on your event's results and have them posted here if you are interested and do not think they will be posted in a lot of other places (such as on http://www.racepacket.com or http://www.runwashington.com) Nothing against those sites, they just typically cover more strongly-promoted and "mainstream" running events, yet I wan this site to serve the people who work and participate in the events that apparently "not too many people hear about".
This is blog site is something of a bi-product inspired by my current endeavors to run in a running event in every county of Maryland (including one in Baltimore City) within a year before 2007 is over. I have been blessed with a lot of success and have really come to enjoy running and racing as a result of the experience.
Thank you all for reading and supporting me, I look forward to any honest criticisms, encouragements, and feedback. I look forward to getting your results online via my blogs! Enjoy!
